Member retreat: August 28-29 Summer in Kansas City is too hot to be outside, which makes it a perfect time to sew! We'll be back at the Missouri Sewing Machine location in Independence, where we had a retreat in January. We have 20 slots for members to set up machines and work on projects on August 28th and 29th from 9-5:30. There is no cost to attend, but your membership must be current. We will provide lunch both days. If you have dietary restrictions, let us know in the signup form. Annual meeting: September 26, 2026 9 a.m. at Legacy Fabrics in Mission, KS. Join us for a bit of official business, including electing our three non-appointed officers, and then stay for a lovely discussion about the garment and bag fabric business from Jamie Hoffman, owner of Legacy Fabrics!
